Training will cover:
- Affidavit Judgments in Baltimore City
- How to Know When a Client Could or Should file Bankruptcy
- Overview of Contract Litigation Issues Including: Auto Repossession, Bail Bonds, Credit Cards, Homeowners’ Associations, Landlord/Tenant, Medical Debt, and Student Loans
Participating attorneys must submit a $25 non-refundable fee and attend 4 brief advice clinics hosted by the Consumer Protection Project at the Baltimore City District Court within one year of the training.
Volunteer attorneys will have access to mentors, malpractice insurance, an email listserv and more.
