Include MVLS In Your Will
A planned gift from your will may be a good option if you want to ensure MVLS’ future viability and strength, long-term planning is more important to you than an immediate income-tax deduction, and/or you want the flexibility of a gift commitment that doesn’t impact current cash flow.
How It Works
- Include a bequest to MVLS in your will or trust.
- Make your bequest unrestricted or direct it to a specific purpose (be sure to check with us to make sure your gift can be used as intended).
- Indicate a specific amount or a percentage of the balance remaining in your estate or trust.
Benefits
- Your assets remain in your control during your lifetime.
- You can modify your bequest to address changing circumstances.
- Under current tax law there is no upper limit on the estate tax deduction for your charitable bequests.
