This webinar will provide an overview of federal and Maryland state human trafficking laws and discuss what populations are put at greatest risk for exploitation. The presentation will also help unpack the often unintended collateral consequences that can result when survivors are caught up in the criminal legal system. This is the first of a three part webinar series examining legal remedies for human trafficking survivors in Maryland.
