MVLS Deed Check & Property Tax Credit Clinic

This clinic is designed to help residents avoid tax sale by connecting them with valuable tax credits, reviewing their deeds, and providing brief legal advice and referrals to address any deed issues. Different from the typical MVLS clinic, no legal documents will be prepared during this event. Rather, volunteer attorneys will look up and review participants’ deeds and provide brief legal advice. All volunteers are welcome to assist residents with completing tax credit applications. No prior experience with the applications is necessary.

Volunteers arrive between 10:15-10:30 am for check in and orientation and the clinic will run from 11 am – 1 pm.
