The HTPP believes collaboration and community engagement is critical to ensure potential clients can safely and easily access legal help. The HTPP is proud to partner with numerous local community agencies throughout Maryland, including programs providing trafficking-specific case management services, residential drug treatment, shelter for survivors of interpersonal violence, neighborhood outreach to street based sex workers, the LGBTQIA+ community, and mentorship for women recently released from prison, all of which are populations who are put at significant risk for being trafficked. *While onsite visits are currently suspended during the Covid-19 health crisis, HTPP is continuing to provide services to community partners through remote legal consultations and intake sessions for potential clients.
Current HTPP Community Partners include:
- Helping Up Mission
- SPARC Center for Women
- Family Crisis Center
- TurnAround, Inc.

The HTPP also welcomes direct referrals from agencies or organizations serving clients in Maryland as well as out-of-state agencies working with individuals that have criminal records (or other legal matters) in Maryland.
