Lawyer in the Library – Virtual Edition

Talk with a volunteer attorney – for free—for up to 20 minutes every Wednesday, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This is available for all Maryland residents.

The Ask a Lawyer in the Library program is a civil, non-family law, self-help program sponsored by the Anne Arundel Local Pro Bono Committee and the Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service. This program, previously (before the pandemic) held in-person, is now available online.

In addition to the weekly program, the Ask A Lawyer in the Library program was held monthly in the evening at two Anne Arundel County Public Library branches: Glen Burnie Regional Library on the 3rd Wednesday and Eastport-Annapolis Neck Community Library on the last Tuesday.  The online program will continue to offer evening hours on those days from 3:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.
