The number of owner-occupied homes facing tax sale this year in Baltimore City is down 40% compared to last year, due to an increase of the minimum debt triggering a sale from $250 to $750. Kudos to the members of the Tax Sale Work Group, led by Community Law Center and Neighborhood Housing Services of Baltimore, for leading policy and advocacy efforts.
