MVLS has been featured in the American Bar Association Journal, highlighting our exciting new virtual reality technology. This tech innovation, an idea developed by IT Director and Staff Attorney Matthew Stubenberg, allows new attorneys and law students alike to experience the courtroom through virtual reality (VR) goggles. Using Youtube’s three-dimensional capabilities for video, MVLS filmed reenactments of courtroom setups for a variety of different legal areas and types of cases. Attorneys simply pull up the Youtube video on their phones, insert the phone into a pair of virtual reality goggles (which can cost as little as $10), and a whole new realm of possibilities has opened for them through virtual reality.
