Judicare Program

MVLS administers a family law reduced-fee program called Judicare in Baltimore City, and Anne Arundel, Calvert, Carroll, Cecil, Charles, Frederick, Garrett, Howard, St. Mary’s, Somerset, Washington, Wicomico and Worcester counties in response to the large number of unrepresented litigants in the family courts, especially in highly contested family law disputes. Attorneys must have at least three years of family law experience to participate in this project.

The Judicare Project funds pro bono legal services programs to pay attorneys up to $4,200 per case representation. The attorney must then provide any additional pro bono.

To inquire about joining the Judicare attorney panel, contact MVLS Director of Program Management Director, Margaret Henn, at 443-451-4067 or mhenn@mvlslaw.org.
