Deeds are integral to stabilizing homeownership through proper estate planning and estate administration. By helping a family pass on a home through co-ownership or life estate deed, you are helping low-income Marylanders preserve intergenerational wealth. By helping a family get clear title to their home through estate administration and other deed transfers, you are unlocking wealth that the family already owns but cannot fully use. This wealth can be used to help the family for generations.
